Director of Tennis

Woody has been the Director of Tennis at Lawnwood Tennis Center for 20 years. He has taught many Sectionally ranked and Nationally ranked players. He has instructed and helped players receive scholarships to the collegiate level. He believes in teaching life skills as well as tennis to the youth of St. Lucie County.

Woody instructs adult players from the beginner levels to advanced player as well as adult team tennis.

Woody is a past president of the USPTA Florida Division and served as Treasurer and Convention Chairman for the Division.

He is past National Chairman for Public Facilities and coordinated and authored the USPTA Guide to Teaching at a Municipal Facility for the United States Professional Tennis Association.

Don has been teaching tennis for 35 years

Don has both College and High School coaching as a part of his experience as well as coaching Adult team tennis.

He is a certified USTA National Tennis Rating Program (NTRP) V1 verifier and is a qualified Cardio Tennis Instructor.
